My Comment about the Educational Leadership Article

I would like to incorporate blogging with my students about Homer’s, The Odyssey, but am not quite sure how to make it work (I’m sure my students could show me) As a high school teacher, I worry about things like inappropriate comments and other items that could be added). I hope to learn more about security to make this actually happen in the near future. Many of my students read at or below the 5th grade level, but I found when I assigned a project for Romeo & Juliet, these below level readers are much more techno savvy that I could have imaged since the majority of them created high quality videos. It’s obvious they are ready to go to the next level of interpreting literature via technology. As for me…….I’m not on the diving board poised to dive, but I am no longer just sitting on the side of the pool watching. My feet are in the water.
