The article was very interesting, it’s amazing how much technology can do to help children be more interested in school. I liked the fact that children were partticpiating in long term investigations because they wanted to not because they had to.
In the preschool i currently work in we create daily journals, using powerpoint, for the children’s parents as a way of comminicating thier childs daily activities. We usually design a page with photos, developmental domains focused on, in addition to the activities that promote that development, and dialogue the children say througout the day. Classroom teachers could create blogs for parents, possibly to check through the day which would give the teachers and parents a chance to communicate during school not just only when they drop and pick their children up. I liked to learn more benefits to using blogs, in addtion or in replace of something else.
