How would I incorporate blogs into my classroom

I think incorporating blogs into the classroom is a great idea.  Many children are using the web everyday.  They know more than what we think.  Incorporating technology that they are familiar with will really get them engaged in their learning.  I would have themdo daily journal activities in a blog.  Therefore they can communicate freely with other students and no feel shy about it.  I would also use it to give feedback about their writing.
